Badischer Winzerkeller is an incredible success story. Its wines are produced through the efforts of 25,000 small wine growers‚ many with little more than ½ hectare of land‚ who share an incredible passion for wine making.
With their days occupied by their "normal" jobs, these devoted growers spend what little spare time they have in the evenings and at weekends, working their land to collectively produce a vast range of over 500 wines distributed worldwide.
With their combined expertise, the growers behind Badischer Winzerkeller have helped to create an impressive wine maker with a global reputation for quality. Its 25,000 wine growers are represented by over 90 co-operatives who together form one of the largest wineries in Europe.
Being so far south means the region enjoys an exceptionally warm climate, on a par with the Loire Valley. Badischer Winzerkeller makes the most of this by combining traditional wine making skills with the latest technology to produce wines of the highest quality.
